Mental Health Support Worker
Hi, I’m Gabi!
I’m a warm, friendly, and non-judgmental mental health support practitioner with an empathetic, trauma-informed approach. I create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable and supported. I believe in promoting autonomy, empowering clients to take charge of their journey and achieve their goals.
With nearly five years in the NDIS industry, I have worked in financial plan management, mental health support, and recovery coaching. I am currently completing my Honours (4th year) in Psychology, working towards my goal of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. In addition to my studies, I have formal training in counselling, alcohol and other drugs, mindfulness and meditation, and clinical hypnotherapy.
I have experience supporting people with a range of psychosocial disabilities, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dissociative disorders, autism, PTSD, OCD, and anorexia nervosa, as well as neurological conditions like traumatic brain injury.
